Yesterday I embarrassed my daughter no end by kneeling in the gutter and taking photos of the plastic ducks arranged outside the Salvation Army second hand store. See here: [link] The above image has been edited in PS CS2 but the ducks and signage remain in the original position. The background has been blacked out to highlight the toy ducks as well as their message of rejection, prejudice, restriction and loneliness. Childrens' toys used to make a social comment. The title was obvious when I noticed that the blue duck was facing in the opposite direction to all the others and the haughty expression of the big duck in the middle.
